TTR OFFICE TOUR

Started my Saturday morning by disturbing my fat ball of fluff.

That's her and her bunny friend!

Why you give me your bunny butt, Milk Tea???

πŸ˜‚

I don't know why but she likes to stay inside the cage in the day, even when I open the door for her. In the evenings, she would bound out in a second. Haha.

She's been shedding a whole lot lately, hence the funny line above her nose.

I hope shedding season ends soon.

Am now heading out of the house to check on new office + do work at the old office! Life of a blogshop owner sure ain't easy. πŸ˜ͺ

OMG THE OFFICE LOOKS SO GOOD.

Hehe.

Gonna give y'all an office "tour" later! Although it's still very much incomplete when it comes to furnishing. Hahaha.

My new office is situated at Oxley Bizhub 1!

I love the glass panels and the entire clean and non industrial look of the buildings.

Actually the first time my agent brought me here, I was already pretty sold. Haha. I just knew that I wanted my new office to be here!

There are swimming pools and gym facilities for the tenants of the building too!

Fabbbbb.

I'm not sure how often I will be using them though. Hahaha.

Swimming pool.

Which I highly doubt I will be using.

Fun fact about me: I can't swim to save my life.

Pretty pretty exterior!

There was just one thing though. All the units inside Oxley Bizhub are entirely bare.

They do not come with anything at all. Everything has to be done from scratch and I was slightly daunted because the previous offices that I was at were all "ready for move in" kind. I just had to buy some furniture, apply for phone lines and pub account and ta dah. Move in.

Bare units are one kind of scary. So much work to be done and I had NO IDEA at all how to go about doing them.

When I first viewed the unit.

SO EMPTY.

πŸ˜–

And it's not just about hiring contractors to do up the unit for you as well… I heard of stories about how some contractors charge sky high especially for people who know nuts about renovation works like me.

Luckily for me, my dad has many friends from all walks of life. He has 2 good friends who does construction work and they helped me settle everything. From air con to partitions to flooring to electricity to lighting. So grateful to them!!!

And lucky me didn't have to worry about anything except drawing how I want the new office to be and writing cheques to pay for the material costs. Haha.

This is the main door of the office! I installed a powerpoint there so we can have a nice Christmas tree at the end of the year. πŸŽ„πŸŽπŸŽ…

There's a blank wall facing the glass door when you walk in, and I plan to put an acrylic signboard there that says "The Tinsel Rack".

Woohoo so excited!!!

This is going to be our office area. Where we pack parcels and deal with emails. I'm also going to try to insert a small pantry area. Somewhere.

Hahaha.

This area looks small here because of the way I took this picture. But in real life it's sufficiently big enough for us to go about doing our daily work!

Going to put mannequins right there.

πŸ™‚

We're still looking at the office area right now, in case you're wondering. I know it's a bit hard to visualise… Maybe if you come for self collection next time you will get a better idea!

Part of our warehouse area.

I'm so happy that we can install a separate warehouse area because at our old office, the warehouse is right together with our studio area and work area. Which makes the entire place so messy and unsightly. Which is why we don't invite our customers in when they come for self collection. Hahaha.

Now we can dump all the stocks inside this room, yay!!!

And this is our future studio area!

I already have a very good idea of how I want to do up the studio area.

So many things have got to go. LOL.

The very first thing that I am going to get for the studio area is a makeup/dressing table. My poor models have been doing their makeup on the floor in front of a mirror for the past 2 years. πŸ˜‚

Told Thom to take a very far away photo because I'm cui today with no makeup. Hahaha.

We're left with the testing for the electricity next Tuesday, and the flooring and we're done! Ready to move in!

I will do another tour when all the furniture are in!

Omg I'm damn excited! And immensely proud of this new office because it's done up from scratch accordingly to exactly how I want it to be. πŸ’ͺ

It's gonna be such a good year for TTR, I can just feel it!
