Late night baking shenanigans.
Baked a whole tray-full of these crunchy goodness so am bottling them up and gifting some to my friends whom I'm meeting/have met this week.
Love (and food) is best when shared. 😌
It's unhealthy to be baking so late at night though. I can't stop popping tiny morsels of granola into my mouth as I wait for them to cool before storing them.
It's really testing my willpower. Ugh.
I'm having a whole lot of me time this week and it feels like a good reprieve from my hectic social calendar.
After returning from my back to back trips around this earth, I've been meeting my friends every single day for two consecutive weeks. And it was lovely to catch up with everyone again, it really was.
But my inner introvert was starting to burn out and my social battery was nearing zero. So I blocked out this entire week.
Every day after work, I head home.
I made my own dinners, I baked, I re-picked up my reads which were beginning to collect dust on my bedside table, I binge watched HIMYM and felt no shame, I watched videos on youtube mindlessly, I spend hours scrolling through social media and felt happy doing it, and I finally got my ass back to the gym whoopee.
⚡️Social battery – 100% fully charged ⚡️
And now I'm ready for the world and my dear friends again!
Finally found my way to MBFC. I freaking hate the CBD area roads + traffic.
Practically every road is one way with no u-turns. Grrrrr.
But owell! I'm here!
Popped by Aloha Poke's new outlet at MBFC for lunch. One of my favourite places for a healthy meal… LOVE IT. 😍
But the shop was pretty cramped and seating was so limited!!!
We managed to got a seat and was like…. Thank god. Damn heng. 🙏🏻
Our poke bowls!
My usual order for the sashimi is always spicy tuna and wasabi mayo salmon… But since they had mentaiko salmon today (seasonal item I think!!) so I went for that. Hehe. The seasoning was pretty awesome but after a while, all I could taste was the spicy sauce from the tuna. Lol.
Grabbed our post lunch cuppa from Ssam which was right beside. We were contemplating on this for lunch.. It's of similar concept as Aloha Poke!
They have bowls, burritos and salads but Korean Mexican fusion style. Sounds pretty exotic right. Would wanna try this someday but I don't have that many friends working Raffles Place lolol.
Interior decor was pretty cute!
The iced latte was crazily affordable, $3.20! The beans are from Toby's Estate somemore leh. Nubbad.
Grabbed their truffle chips but it was quite meh honestly.
Don't understand the korean words but the 3ce new fall collection is 😍😍😍💯💯💯
Gradient lips always look so good on Park Sora!!!
So sad that this collection was not launched when I was in Korea earlier this month. But maybe it's really a blessing in disguise cause it saved me some monehhh. Hahaha.
Don't own any of their nail polishes but strangely feel like getting some from this collection. Lol. 😬
Got inspired by the gradient lips so I attempted it today with my recently bought 3ce lippie, which was mentioned in one of my korean posts.
It's either called warm & sweet or sweet & warm. Hahaha.
Not really obvious but can pass for my first attempt right hehehe.
The staying power of the lipstick is reallyyy good. I ate and drank throughout the day and only touched up once.
It's a tad drying tho….. Applying lip balm before this is a must!
Don't usually put eyeshadows but today did a fast one with my cheek palette. So effortless this look. Shall share it soon!!
How do people take photos of their eyeshadow look?
Looks so retarded lolol I cannot. 😂
WOOHOO off to enjoy my Friday night with friends who are cooking dinner for me and feeding me with red wine. Hehe.
So excited to be exploring and chilling at @jazreeltan's new crib!!
LOL. Actually is self invite one. Told her I made granola for her and idk how but it ended up with them hosting me for dinner and keeping me entertained on a Friday night. Heh.
Masterchef Leroy in action yo.
