TTR previews ☺️ + $3.90 eyeshadow palette πŸ˜±

One of the happier bits about moving office – getting to choose new colours for the walls!

All these pastel colours!!!! HOW TO DECIDE. πŸ˜πŸ’“β€οΈπŸ˜ŠπŸ™ŒπŸ»

Yaaaas coffee is my lifeblood. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Love that there's now The Coffee Academics at Raffles City basement.. So convenient for me to get my Okinawa!

Sick days got me feeling like… 😴 Hats off to those who can still function like normal when they're sick. All my body wants to do is to fuse together with my bed. LOL.

Photoshoot in 30 minutes, I better get my act together!

Had the luxury of time to do my makeup properly today (cause I woke up early!!) so here's a #fotd. πŸ€—

Finally found the best corner of my room to take selfies at. ✌🏻 The lighting is ace and all the parts which are supposed to glow are glowing. Heh.

What's on my face… πŸŽ€πŸ’„

Only the lippie and eyeshadow are new… The rest are all used on a regular basis and well loved.

πŸ’‹ #Peripera Airy Ink Velvet in #5 Elf Light Rose

Tried this out today and the first thing which hit me was…. THE SCENT. Damn strong. It's not unpleasant but it's a bit too artificial and perfume-y.

But I'm really liking the texture of this airy ink velvet! So easy to do the gradient lip look as well.

I got the ink velvet in Celeb Deep Rose during my Korea trip last year and this feels much lighter than that. The finish is nice and powdery but I'm not sure how long it'll last haha.

A tad more pink than I'd like it to be but surprisingly I'm not disliking it.

In the midst of shooting but here's a quick one…

Teri Pleated Skorts in new colours!!

White is always a good-to-have colour. 😊

And so we decided to make this in Clay – one of the most popular colours for the Courtney Pleated Skirt!

Chelsea Babydoll in new colours, catch them this Sunday!! πŸ€—

My go-to Spotify playlist for photoshoots.

AH I KNOW ALREADY. The airy velvet ink smells like hair spray!! LOL what a revelation.

End of photoshoot yay!

Anyway. This was what I really wanted to talk about – three colour eyeshadow (lollll ya that's the name) from Miniso.

Randomly wandered into Miniso yesterday and itchy hands went to swatch the eyeshadows for fun. NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD EVER BUY ANY MAKEUP FROM MINISO I SWEAR. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

But it's really my proudest beauty buy of 2017 so far because…

IT'S ONLY $3.90 OMG.

Honestly I don't usually get things just because they are cheap.. Cause to me, quality matters more!

So I really got this because the quality is AMAZING for the price tag of $3.90.

When I swatched this in Miniso, I was so blown away by how good the swatches turned out. They have this in a brown version and several single eyeshadows as well. I saw a single rose gold one that looked chio in the pan but erm that was so full of glitter, yuck no.

The colours are easy to pick up, the texture and pigmentation are on par with my TF eyeshadows (wtf can't believe I'm saying this!) and the colours are so pretty!

I don't fancy the top shade all that much because it is slightly too glittery for my liking… But the other two are so lovely omg. πŸ’“ Berry and pink tones are my favourite kind of eyeshadows at the moment so this is right up my alley!

This was just one swipe, btw. CRAZY RIGHT??!

The shadows are really easy to blend too. I used my fingers, like I always do.

I usually go for a one shadow look, so I created a gradient (somewhat) by dabbing more eyeshadow at the outer corners and slowly bringing more inwards. This is done using the middle colour in the palette!

It is really mind boggling to me how something of such awesome quality is only priced at $3.90. How???

If you pass by Miniso, grab this!

The description on the back of the plastic casing is really funny tho..

"Using single colour can build a natural makeup effect, with different colours, stereo feeling arises (???!!!!!????), different colours combination could create different makeup effect."

Hahahahahahaha. Okay la. They tried. πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ»

The lasting power is also top notch.

It's now more than 8 hours since I've applied the shadow and the intensity is still the same. LIKE WHATTTTT. And I don't usually put primer on my lids. This is really damn amazing la.
