Me these days.
I’ve been on my phone a lot recently, but then I have 108494002 work related tasks screaming for my attention on the phone at the same time as well. 😪
I feel so stretched that I hardly have the energy to type proper replies on Whatsapp even though I’ve mentally acknowledged them lol.
Need my break soon.
For now, Netflix and airplane mode will be my reprieve from the world. 😴
Sent by a lovely friend who always have the kindest words to say during tough times.
Shopping therapy always helps.
Guess I’m officially done with CNY shoe shopping! ✨
4 pairs 😬 added to my ever growing collection of shoes. To justify my purchases, there was a 2 pairs for 20% off sale going on at Aldo, and members get extra 5% off. And then C&K and Pedro were right beside Aldo, so I went in and left with a pair of shoes each from them too.
I love my friends. 😂😂
All so encouraging. 😂
This friend ask me to buy both colours somemore. 😂
Which I did.
And yesss Thursday previews when I wake up tomorrow! 💪🏻
FINAL CNY LAUNCH!!! ✨
Just a note that our final CNY collection falls on 11 Feb (Sunday) at 8PM.
Our last recommended day of mailing will be 9 Feb in order to ensure that the parcels reach you in time for CNY! ✉️
You will be able to opt for self collection at our office located at Ubi (more details will be given upon you selecting self collection at checkout) from 9 Feb onwards.
There’s to be no self collection at our Gateway store because we did so last year and it jammed up the store so bad. 😐
In order to facilitate a smoother (and less crowded) shopping experience this CNY, we decided to have the self collection at our office instead.
Just three days, 12-14 Feb! We will be opening our office till 8pm daily so you can still make it down after work. 😊
Unfortunately we won’t be able to make any exceptions and drop off your self collection at the Gateway store due to logistical constraints. So just keep that in mind before you purchase, yes?
So if you purchase and pay AFTER 9 Feb 9am and request for doorstep delivery, we would only be able to mail out after our CNY break. If you need the items for CNY, please opt for self collection!! 🙏🏻
Now that I’m done with the longwinded stuff, let the previews begin!
(But first, BREAKFAST 🍳🥞🥓)
Each piece in this collection tugs at my heart a different way and it’s so tough even to decide which design to feature first.
But yes eventually I decided on this pretty botanical mesh embroidery maxi dress!
Yes I know that it looks like a midi and not maxi on the model.
But then remember? She’s 178cm. 😬
A very modest and romantic piece, suitable for Valentine’s Day…? 💕 I won’t be celebrating that but I’m sure some of you have got dinner plans lined up! 😏
So much work went into the satin trimmings on this piece… I lost count of the pieces we “wasted” because the sewing wasn’t done properly, trimmings were misaligned etc.
But I’m loving how it turned out! ☺️☺️
Here, you can see the satin trimmings on the strap and bodice more clearly. 😍
Pink is a nice festive colour. This will appeal to all you girly girls! 💕
Hunted high and low for a mesh embroidery pattern which stands apart from the usual florals and found this leafy botanical one. 🤗 Don’t think I’ve seen anything like this before!
Scallop hem, the cherry on top of it all! 😍
White dresses are a permanent weakness of mine.
Really loving the flow and how ethereal this piece is! 🙂 👼🏻
We intentionally made the inner lining shorter than usual so the scallop hem detailing is more obvious.
There’s just something about thicker shoulder straps like these.
Each time I wear this or the Nixon Flare Top out to meet my friends, I get the “did you lose weight???” question. 😂 How awesome is that!!!
I suppose thicker straps = skinnier arms! I’m all for that. 🙋🏻♀️
It’s not too fitting (great for all that CNY feasting!!) but yet gives you a very flattering silhouette at the waist. ☺️☺️ I’m thinking that this might be one of my 初一 初二 outfits!
As you can see, it’s a proper maxi dress length for me. ☺️
How can we do without a romper for our last collection, right?
Used the same mesh embroidery and satin trimmings. Same elements but different cutting!
Instead of doing the romper in Blush, we opted for this festive yet modern shade of Rose.
The cutting runs small (GRRRR FACTORY 🙄🙄) for this piece and you definitely need to size up. I’m wearing size M for this piece and it fits just nice!
Officially posting up photos of this romper which some of you have already DM-ed me about when I posted BTS of our KL shoot. 😛
The details on this romper are really gorgeous! ☺️
Already stocked the new arrivals in store so you can head over to try them on now. 🙆🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️
Romper is of a very decent length, don’t have the measurements with me right now but I’m certain that it’s longer than most of our rompers.
Very modest neckline as well!
I was so torn between the colours of this romper!! 😩 Guess which I went with in the end?
Personally, I still find myself inclining towards designs which can bring me through the year and not solely meant for CNY. So I made sure we included some of those in our collections as well!
Black always looks good on a jumpsuit. 👌🏻
Kept this colour myself, it’s perf for weddings and the dressy occasions!
Ahhhh and I had to keep this colour because it’s just right for CNY! 👌🏻
We were undecided between Red and this beautiful Rose colour initially. But I felt that a full on red jumpsuit would be too loud for some, and wine red is too predictable.
I’m glad we took a leap of faith with this colour!
This shade of pink looks good easily both fair and tanned skin girls. Surprisingly not difficult to carry off! If you’re always going for neutrals, this would be a nice pop of colour.
I’m so obsessed with this jumpsuit though.
It magically makes me look a size smaller and MUCH TALLER than I really am.
I only kept one colour initially but after wearing it, I went back to office and bagged another colour home immediately. 😂😂
I’m quite selective when it comes to wearing pink, some pinks look terrible on me but this is 💯💯!
I. LOVE. THIS…!!!!!
If you notice carefully, there’s a gradient play going on at the overlapping hem. 😉
This dress has a really lovely swish to it as you walk. 🤩
Yellow will always be one of my favourite colours to make dresses in. 💛 Such a cheery, happy shade!
I’m always a happy camper whenever mustard comes back in trend. Because it means I get to keep more yellows in my wardrobe. 😶
Gonna be wearing this out over the weekends, probably will post it on ig stories!
Navy comes with a side of grey. This is a solid, basic shade which is good for everyday wear. ☺️
Saw some shoppers leaving the store with this piece today!
Another pink item I kept from this collection. LOL. I’ve no idea what’s up with me either. Don’t ask me.
This shade of dusty blush pink is so nice, I couldn’t help it laaa. 😍 The combination of pink and white reminds me of strawberry milk. 🍓
This is also the perfect sneakers dress!
Wearing my adorable Keds x Kate Spade pair here.
I love the cheeky lil cutout at the waist, it shall remind me to not eat so much during the festive period. Hahah.
Anddddd that’s it! The last of our CNY launches!
(But we have a couple of store exclusives coming up!)
It’s been the craziest month. I don’t think I’ve been as busy as this for a prolong period of time throughout all my years of running TTR.
So so thankful for all your support! Some of you have been hitting our store every single launch and some of you have dropped lovely emails and kind messages my way. That makes all the sleepless nights and frustration with the factory worth it! 😊👌🏻
This CNY rush ain’t over till CNY eve (we’ll close at 4pm as with past years) but my team and I will continue hanging in there and doing the best we can.
Writing weekly previews since the start of CNY has also made me realise that I’m beyond lucky to be working on something which I’m so passionate about.
I’ve had much joy sharing about the new arrivals weekly and interacting with all of you, so I’ll continue doing it on a regular basis as long as my schedule allows it! 😌🙌🏻
